The National Japan Bowl is looking for former JETs to volunteer at a “virtual information booth” and speak to high schoolers about their time in Japan.
The event is scheduled for April 8 and volunteer deadline is April 7, so be sure to act soon if you’re interested!

Who Should Volunteer:
Since the theme of this event is Hokkaido and Kyushu,if possible, people who have worked as JETs (ALT or CIR) in Hokkaido or Kyushu. However, any volunteers will be appreciated.
Audience: High school students and school staff who are studying Japanese.
Method: Online, using Hopin.

Details:
Volunteers will talk to the high school students who visit the JET booth mainly about your experiences on the JET Program. We would also like you to talk about your life in Japan.
We would appreciate it if you could talk about the following topics based on your experience on the JET Program.
- Brief intro about JET
- Why did you join JET? Your career and life before JET
- When did you join JET? Where did you teach English work as a Coordinator for International Relations? What did your work involve? How was it?
- Japanese language improvement (before JET and after JET)
- Message for high school students in America
