
Taylor Campbell
President
Taylor Campbell Wood was an ALT in Tokamachi-shi, Niigata-ken from 2017-2021. She is currently working for a Japanese logistics company as an imports/exports coordinator, and has been the JETAA Texoma President since 2024. Outside of work and representing JETAA, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and reading books. She’s currently expecting her first child (a boy!) due on July 29th.
Mark Schneider

Mark Schneider was an ALT in Miyagi 2003-2006 & Ehime 2010-2015, where he co-served as Prefectural Advisor. Now, he works in the Cultural Affairs & PR division of the Japanese Consulate in Houston. His free time disappears into writing, gaming, cooking, & music.


Jennifer Kennedy Tucker

Jennifer Kennedy Tucker was an ALT in Shimane prefecture from 2009 – 2011. Even today, she has an interest in Japanese food, culture, and language. She is a project manager by trade and finally has enough vacation time to re-visit Japan!

Judy Liu was an ALT in Ishikawa (Tsubata-machi), 2016-2017. She currently works in compliance in Houston. Outside of work, you’ll find her dancing, taking family road trips, or nurturing her indoor plants.


Charles “Chuckie” Harris
Regional Representative — Austin / Hill Country
Charles “Chuckie” Harris is a former ALT in Miyagi prefecture, Tome-shi. He spent 2010-2014 teaching all levels of English from Pre-Kindergarten to Junior High School. He’s now working at the Attorney General’s Office as a legal assistant. Charles is excited to meet new people and see everyone at upcoming Austin events!
Jessica Maple
Regional Representative — San Antonio
Jessica Maple was an ALT in Yamaguchi-shi, in Yamaguchi-ken from 2011-2014. She is a full-time band director in San Antonio and on the board for the Japan-America Society of San Antonio. Jessica plans to have small group events to bring JET Alumni together to share their stories and learn about opportunities in the area.
